Arizona Weekend Adventures continued (#2)

Now that you live in Arizona, what is there to do?  Well, we are sharing "Arizona Weekend Adventures" that will help you explore your own backyard: Arizona!  We frequenty get questions from people moving into the area about what there is to do in ArizonaSo we are helping by giving you adventures for every weekend of the entire year!!!  And if you haven't moved here yet be sure to give us a call!  We will help you find a home too!!  Last week we visited Sedona where you could be laid back and enjoy the scenery and now we are going into the wild!

Out of Africa, at Camp Verde, is our second weekend adventure we are recommending to help you explore Arizona!  It's like an African safari, but you can do it over your weekend because it is only 90 minutes north of Phoenix!

This is not like a zoo because here bears and mountain lions play together, tigers and leopards share the same habitat.  There are hundreds of exotic animals on this 100 acre natural setting.  You can kiss a giraffe or feed a tigerYou will want to make sure to get to the park by noon to get a good seat for the Tiger Splash.  At 1:15pm the Bengal and Siberian tigers romp and splash with their trainers.  It is a show you won't want to miss!

"On the 45-minute African Bush Safari, you will experience the heart of Africa in the heart of Arizona."  Expert park guides take you on a safari tour and while riding in a safari vehicle you may have a personal encounter with a giraffe, zebra and more.  Treats are provided for you to feed the animals and you may get a kiss from a giraffe.   "You will see prides of lions and other big cats overlook their domaine.  It’s like Africa, only closer"

You will want to allow a good 5 hours to take in the different events that this wildlife park has to offer!  It makes for a wonderful wildlife home!  And if you haven't purchase your home in Arizona give us a call!

From Phoenix (about 90 minutes):
Take I-17 north to exit 287 (Hwy 260 toward Cottonwood). Turn left (west) over the freeway. Go west 3 miles on Highway 260. Turn left (south) on at the traffic light onto Cherry Rd. Go 1 block and turn right into the park entrance.
